About Michael
I learned to love math at a very early age by noticing patterns on the times tables poster. My mom taught me basic algebra at the age of 9 and I've gone on from there.
I was a late bloomer in creative writing, partly because of muscular issues in my hand, which makes it very easy to relate to students who have good ideas in their head but have trouble putting them on paper.
The key to all learning is to instill confidence in the student, and that's something I'm very good at. There's always a win to be celebrated if you look hard enough.

Confidence is the key to learning, and that's the first thing I will instil. I have a laid-back manner and can explain new concepts in lots of different ways so your student can understand it fully.
I like to keep lessons down to about an hour at the most, usually less, because that's as much as the brain can really absorb without a break. I'm happy to teach over video call if that works for you, or come to you if you're in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
I've been training in a corporate environment for the last 12 years or so, and before that I was in the education industry, so I know where to get the right tools for the job.
