About Ben
My name is Ben and I am a Year 12 student at Dame Alice Owens school in Potters Bar. I would love to help to tutor your child in order to allow them to reach their full potential within these subjects. Currently, I am taking Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Geography for my A-Levels. I think having just gone through the GCSE process will really help me to bond with your child and understand the problems they might face, and why they might not understand some of the content.

I have a strong passion for maths and physics and want to share this with others in order to help them improve these fundamental skills. I would do 1-hour lessons as I believe this to be the perfect balance to have enough time to be efficient without your child becoming bored. In my GCSEs, I got nine 9s and an 8 in English literature. Maths is my passion and I was really proud to drop only a single mark across all 3 papers as well as achieving Olympiad in last year's national maths challenge (top 1500 of around 230,000 entrants). To gain experience, I am helping children in Year 11 at my school with Maths, Physics and D&T as well as attending lectures in school on how to teach effectively. I would be happy to tutor any age group up to GCSEs, and would charge £100 for 5 hour-long lessons. I would also offer 2 free lessons to ensure your child and I can work well together.
