About Katie
I started off by tutoring a family friend and was able to help him pass all his tests, before that I spent a lot of time in class helping my peers and my siblings at home in areas they were struggling. My favourite time as a high school student was teaching my 9 year old sister how to do my schoolwork to pass the time and felt an amazing sense of pride in her and myself when she picked things up through my methods of teaching.
Over the past year I have tutored Maths for students of Primary 6, 2nd year, National 5 and Higher grades and have seen each of them come a long way from where they began. I feel confident that I could teach and all other levels and be able to teach all level I am qualified in.

I have always helped my peers and younger siblings in many subjects but I excelled at this in Physics and Maths. I recognise that every student is different so teaching methods need to be flexible. I can confidently teach at every level up to 1st Year at university, as I am currently in my 3rd year. I myself am studying to teach at secondary/College level in physics so I am very excited to gain any experience I can. I am easy to get along with and happy to work any time or day of the week, so am open to any schedule you may need to work around.
I make sure to work mostly on parts of a topic that you may be struggling in the most, and I find that multiple examples help to create a rhythm in answering questions that may come up in tests and an exam.
I am currently open for bookings for the summer time due to the "summer slump". I can help keep my students up to date on maths and to an extent show them examples of what they will learn in the following year. This can help tremendously especially if you have struggled this year, some extra help during the summer can help bring you up to speed and get you ready for the next stage.
I would be available to start as soon as high school exams are over and would give lessons are far as September if necessary.
