About Lydia
I am currently an art student at Manchester metropolitan university but previously to this I attained two A’s in Maths and Art and a C in physics at A level - alongside 10 A-A*’s at GCSE. I’ve been tutoring a family member in the Cello for about 4 years but am new to academic tutoring.

I believe in challenging but interesting learning - and if a teacher isn’t providing that interest then it becomes really difficult for someone to learn! A step by step approach with proper explanations and examples always helped me throughout school and college, and for me the most important thing has to be patience. I’m happy to go through homework but will likely choose the section of a students text book they have been going through in their most recent lessons and cement what they’ve learnt, aswell as going over the things they haven’t.
