About Samuel
Hi there! Just a bit about my background - i graduated with an integrated Masters at University College London (UCL class 2022), attaining First Class Honours. I now work at Meta (aka Facebook) as a Software Engineer. My career and degree has fuelled my passion for teaching technology and science which has greatly advanced the world us.
Additionally, I have substantial experience in tutoring as I have been teaching Maths, Computing and Science for the past 6 years as well as tutoring students for the 11plus exams.
I’m keen on ensuring my students master the content so that they can answer any question on said topic no matter how the examiners try to complicate them.
Going through the education system has taught me the importance of the application of knowledge which is at the core of the new GCSEs and A Levels and which is why I spend time going through past papers and exam technique.
I am hardworking and dedicated to everything that I do including tutoring – evident from my GCSE (10 A*s and 2 As) and A Level (3 A*s and 1 A) grades.
I am proficient in Java, Python, C, Haskell, JavaScript etc and I have completed many projects in these languages at University and Meta. Anyone could learn a programming language and I would be able to steer you in the right direction.
