About Jonathan
Hi, I’m a friendly and patient maths tutor currently studying Mathematics at Oxford.
I achieved top grades in GCSE and A-Level Maths and Further Maths, along with good scores in all my entrance exams and I ensure students feel ready to ace admissions tests and reach their dream university.
I specialise in working with students applying for top universities, and ensuring that they have an edge over other applicants.
My approach is relaxed and supportive while also pushing my students to achieve the best they possibly can.
I offer the first lesson free so you can get to know me and my teaching style before committing.

I focus on helping students build a clear and confident understanding of difficult mathematical topics so they are confident that they can answer hard questions in various different areas of maths.
In lessons, I break topics down step-by-step and explain them in a simple, easy-to-follow way. I then point out what to look for when answering questions on a given topic, before giving students past exam questions to practice from, from a bank of over 10 years' worth of admission test questions.
