About Jonathan
Hi, I’m a maths tutor currently studying Mathematics and Computer Science at Oxford.
I specialise in working with students applying for top universities and ensuring that they have an edge over other applicants.
I achieved top grades in GCSE and A-Level Maths and Further Maths, along with high scores in all my entrance exams and I ensure students feel ready to ace admissions tests and reach their dream university.
I enjoy learning the underlying rules governing mathematics and always ensure I thoroughly understand a topic before teaching it. This understanding is passed onto my students through comprehensive lessons and carefully chosen questions for my students to complete.

I believe that the best way to learn maths is through doing - this is why, throughout my lessons, I give students carefully chosen questions and tasks to help them truly understand the current topic. These questions are designed to both consolidate what we’ve covered and to stretch the student, deepening their knowledge of the underlying concepts, making exam questions feel much easier.
