About Ali

I have a BSc in maths from King's College London and an MSc in pure maths from Imperial College London. I am currently a PhD researcher in post-quantum cryptography at Imperial College. I have taught Maths, Further Maths, Statistics & Mechanics to A-Level and GCSE students since 2016. I like programming in Python, C++, TensorFlow, R. I teach in-person and online.

About the lesson

I enjoy teaching maths and solving good maths problems with my pupils. I start the lessons by giving a short historical background on the topic. Then move on to do some simple examples and then start solving more advanced problems. I have had a very good success rate with all my students by helping them enjoy their lessons and subjects. I have good communication skills, can assist students with understanding complex topics and assist them to reach their maximum potential. I teach in-person and online using a collaborative digital board.

Ali has been assisting my daughter for a while now. He is punctual, calm and patient. They also get a great deal done in a relatively short space of time. He is able to pin point areas that need improvement and uses a variety of techniques so that the student understands the concept.
