About Clarke
My name is Clarke and I am very enthusiastic about encouraging all people to succeed in maths; whether you are struggling to increase your exam grade or are looking to deepen your understanding further than what your teacher can offer you in the classroom, I am keen to help! At university, I have seen how important maths can be to a wide range of degree subjects and I would like to help any student to boost their understanding of the subject area. I have enjoyed my experience as a tennis coach where I work with young people and I would like to transfer that skill towards a classroom environment. I am a very active person and also enjoy rugby, cycling and martial arts.

I believe in teaching a fundamental understanding approach so that a student can tackle a problem on their own so that they are never intimidated by exam questions. I graduated with a degree in Maths from Loughborough University in 2023 and now I am studying for an MSc in Finance. I also completed scholarship exams and STEP material as an A-level student. I have significant experience in teaching as a tennis coach for children aged 4-16, so I am comfortable to talk to students in secondary school and students working towards their GCSEs or A-levels. I can accommodate lessons of 1-2 hours up to 3 times per week.
