About Tehila

Hello, I’m Tehila, a Mathematics graduate of the University of Lagos with over a year of experience tutoring students aged 8 to 18 from around the world. I work with learners in the US, UK, Canada and Asia, so I’m used to adapting to different curricula, schedules and time zones.

I love teaching maths because I enjoy turning complicated ideas into simple, clear steps that students actually understand. Many students come to me feeling anxious about maths, and it’s rewarding to watch their confidence grow along with their grades. My background in writing also helps me explain concepts in plain language.

I’m patient, organised and reliable, and I keep parents updated on their child’s progress.

About the lesson

I’m a Mathematics graduate of the University of Lagos, and I teach online one-on-one lessons to students aged 8 to 18. I specialise in preparing students for GCSE, SAT and 11+ entrance exams, and I adapt each lesson to the US, UK, Canadian or Asian curriculum my student follows.

Every student gets an individual lesson plan built around their pace and learning style. I begin by identifying gaps in their understanding, then use targeted practice exercises and custom worksheets to build confidence and strengthen problem-solving. I track progress every week and send parents clear progress reports and study recommendations.

Lessons last 60 minutes and take place online. All of my students have passed their exams, including students who started well below grade level.
