With about 5 years of teaching and tutoring GCSE students and below, I like explanations broken down to the barest minimum. I'm also a strong believer of the maxim: if you can picture it, you can actualize it. I like to think that once mathematical concepts can be visualized and applied to everyday life, then learning can be fun. My typical length of a lesson should not exceed two(2) hours. Most people tend to lose concentration right after that, anyway.
