About Priththi

Hi! I’m a second-year university student studying Economics and Accounting with previous experience tutoring students across different ages and abilities. I really enjoy helping students understand topics they may initially find difficult. I know that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit each individual. I focus on identifying areas they struggle with, breaking topics down into simple steps and using plenty of examples and practice questions to build their understanding and confidence. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel able to ask questions without worrying about getting things wrong. Whether you need help catching up, preparing for an exam, completing homework or simply becoming more confident in Maths, I’m happy to help! I offer tutoring for GCSE Maths, with lessons tailored to each student's needs and goals.

About the lesson

I like to structure my lessons around each student and the areas they need the most support with. I usually begin with around 15 minutes of starter questions to check their existing knowledge and identify anything they may be struggling with. We then work through the topic together, breaking it down step by step and using examples before moving on to practice questions. I encourage students to ask questions throughout and make sure we don't rush through anything they are unsure about. Towards the end of the lesson, I like to return to some of the starter questions or similar questions. This helps me check that the student has understood what we covered and allows them to see the progress they've made during the lesson. My main aim is for students to leave each session feeling more confident and comfortable with the topic than when they started.

Details

I currently charge £12 per hour for one-to-one tutoring. I aim to keep my lessons affordable while still providing personalised support for each student. Every lesson is planned around the student's individual needs, whether they need help with a particular topic, homework, exam preparation or improving their overall confidence.
£12 – 1 hour lesson
£24 – 2 hour lesson
