About Maryam
I'm quite a logical person that has compassion and diligence. Once I have a goal, I will not stray away from it and will work hard to achieve it.
I am quite disciplined and I believe with structure students can become proficient in maths. However, what I ask of my students is that if they do not understand, always ask questions. Always be curious and ready to learn that you will not get it once but have to try several times to succeed. Trust the process!

Find the weaknesses in certain topics and overcome them face forward. Lessons are adaptable around your strengths and weaknesses, providing practice to ingrain the knowledge of problem solving. These problems include exam questions, real-life situations and modelling back to the teacher.
Lessons duration will be a minimum of 1 hour or however much practice the student requires.
I have mentored several Yr 11 students to pass their GCSE's Maths Foundation as well as Grade 7-9 in Maths Higher. I can help a wide range of secondary students to understand and practise their maths, chemistry and biology topics.
