About Trevor
I have been teaching since 1980. I am qualified electronics engineer who moved into education whilst in The RAF. I learned to teach at RAF Benson and then taught electrical and electronic engineering at RAF Cosford for six years. On leaving The RAF I was appointed to The University of Salford as a Lecturer in Professional Sound and Video Recording. I co-wrote the HND in this subject in 1986-7 and went on to present the first ever media technology course in the UK. From Salford I moved into commercial electronic engineering for twelve years initially working with military aviation and then moving into Internet based technologies primarily focussed in The City of London banking and finance sector. In 2000 I set up my own learning and development company and taught internet-based technologies for 8 years. During this period, I was lucky enough to travel to many countries around the world to teach. I now spend my time tutoring maths, physics and of course electronics.
