Maths, Physics and Further Maths tutoring up to GCSE level from undergraduate Physics student with 5 A*s at A levels.

I took the further maths course in GCSEs this year (2022) but was having so much trouble I was considering dropping it. No matter what I did, I had no clue how to raise my score above a 7. I’m quite shy, so I was nervous about asking the teacher for help. I studied with Jessica instead, and with her notes and advice, I was able to link questions together better and had a clearer understanding of basic concepts too.
Just got the results back, and I’m so proud of my 9.

Last year, Jessica helped me study for my 11 plus maths exams. I went to a local state school, and I initially thought I was less likely to get into schools I applied for than friends who went to prep schools. However, she taught me how to handle harder questions and gave me tips that I wasn’t receiving at school. This allowed me to qualify for several top schools.
I found that Jessica was a very patient teacher and was really focused on my needs.

Jessica tutored me in GCSE maths for a couple of months before the exams. I was previously struggling in lessons as I did not understand the teacher’s explanations well; I largely had trouble applying the pure concepts to actual exam questions. She was able to pinpoint where I was having issues and helped me raise my grade from a fluctuating 5/6 to a consistent 8.
I’d absolutely recommend Jessica as a tutor because she can adapt her teaching style for different students and easily understands what is needed for each question. This allows her to give simple, clear explanations of complicated concepts.
