About Harrison
My name is Harrison, and I graduated with a First-Class Honours degree in International Relations from the University of St Andrews. Since then, I have built a tutoring academy and gained over eight years of experience helping students achieve their academic goals. During my time at university, I learnt that academic success isn’t just about intelligence – it’s about knowing how to study effectively. Like many students, I struggled at first with how to structure my revision and make the most of my efforts. It was a stressful, trial-and-error process that caused a lot of anxiety along the way. Eventually, I found a system that worked – but I couldn’t help thinking: why weren’t we taught this at school? I provide specialist support in Maths, Physics, and English for pupils from Primary 4 through to S6. Each student attends a one-hour lesson each week, followed by personalised homework designed to reinforce and consolidate their learning. I take full responsibility for every student’s progress, focusing on the areas where they need the most support while building their confidence through consistent, targeted teaching.
