About Azhar
I am a year 13 student taking A levels maths, further maths, physics and computer science. I have experience with GCSEs and KS3, and with what techniques work. I emphasise clear structured approach to learning with a focus on application to what matters in the end, exams. and having done the GCSE exams relatively recently myself, i can explain and see more from the students perspective. GCSE content is still fresh for me, and I know the jump from understanding a topic to answering exam questions.

I believe in straightforward, patient and focused tutoring with the aim of identifying where the student is struggling and find currently challenging, break the topic into steps and recommend additional resources, and go through worked examples.
I emphasise exam technique and applying it to exam questions, the real test.
Lessons are typically one hour with the aim of productivity.
First, I identify which topics or question types the student is finding difficult. I then break them down into clear steps, explain the underlying idea, and work through examples together. Once the student is comfortable with the method, we practise exam-style questions so they can apply it independently.
For GCSE Maths and Physics, I place particular emphasis on problem-solving and exam technique — not just knowing a formula or method, but recognising when and how to use it.
Lessons can be adapted to the student's level and goals, whether they need help understanding a particular topic, preparing for mocks, revising for GCSE exams, or pushing towards the highest grades.
