About Andrea
I am Andrea, 22, I am a mathematics and physics graduate from the University of Warwick with a great passion for teaching.
I have been teaching physics and maths to primary school or A-level students for 6 years while still at school and at university.
I provide tutoring from students ranging from primary school to A-level in support tutoring sessions or further training. I also help many students to prepare for exams, by doing dedicated training sessions and unlock study motivation.
I believe good pedagogical skills and understanding of the self are key to unlock the motivation to study and the understanding of the different concepts of the curriculum.
A typical mathematics or physics support class with me would usually go as follow:
Re-explanation with examples of the concepts the student is struggling with (I may ask the student to try to re-explain it to me as if I was the student).
We then do series of exercise from the book or that I have prepared, and practice until perfect.
About me:
I am from France and studied in the UK, therefore familiar with A-levels / GSCE and French Baccalaureate. After university I worked as a hedge fund analyst before going back to teaching.
