About Baishakhi

I am passionate about mathematics and logic since childhood. I have consistently scored the highest grades in maths all through my education. I later earned a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and went on to a corporate job with multinationals.

About the lesson

I try to encourage participation in my lessons so that conversation is bi-directional. Children who are more comfortable with their tutor normally progress faster. I do like to strike the right balance by keeping the learning pressure on by providing assignments while also ensuring that the child has the right interest level. I have taught mathematics to my child who cleared 11+ with very high scores, getting through all the grammar school exams she sat through. I have done quite a bit of charity education helping needy kids learn mathematics. I have been tutoring 11+ and secondary school year children (including GCSEs).
