About Nicholas

I am a student studying an integrated Masters at Nottingham Trent University, having achieved consistent firsts.
Having tutored voluntarily at a local establishment that helps people struggling in school, as well as tutoring many friends online and in person, I am aware of what it takes to teach in the field.

About the lesson

My classes are tailored to the student. I will target my classes towards what you specifically struggling in, attempting a range of different teaching techniques to find the best method for you.

I feel the best way to learn maths is to understand WHY, rather than just to know how. If you just learn the method, you can easily forget it. If you can understand what is going on, you can make the method yourself.

Cancellation policy:
- Cancellations must be made a minimum of 36 hours in advance.
- If cancellations are made within 36 hours of the lesson, £5 payment will still be expected.

Travel:
- If travelling to the student, the students address must be within a 15 minute walk of an NCT bus route.

Discount:
- A discount is negotiable for lessons with multiple students.
