About Meghan
After several years of teaching, I have supported students through a wide variety of different qualifications, however I do not get to teach all of theses every year! Tutoring is an excellent way to keep my skills sharp while also helping someone to succeed at whatever level they working towards.

I'm an experienced teacher and have taught in both the Scottish and English systems. Over the last few years, I have taken part in courses to develop an active learning approach at all levels but particularly with post 16 education in order to encourage greater understanding and engagement. I'm happy to tutor for any level or age. A typical lesson would be 30 mins to an hour depending on age and level. I believe a mixture of independent practice alongside excellent modelling of problem solving is the best way for students to succeed.
