About Finbarr

I’m Mr Biscoe-Taylor, a fully qualified, experienced Maths teacher with over a decade of classroom and tutoring experience. I’m currently Head of Maths at an independent school and have taught in a wide range of settings, including mainstream comprehensives and schools for students with ASD.

I hold a First-Class Degree in Mathematics and Education, a PGCE in Secondary Maths, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Advanced Mathematics. I’m also working towards a Masters in Professional Education at the University of Warwick.

Over the years, I’ve developed the TRIP Maths system — a structured, exam-focused revision and tutoring approach that’s helped hundreds of students build confidence, develop independence, and achieve excellent results.
