About Jaimin
Hi everyone, I am Jaimin. I am a year 12 student (A 17 year old) looking to gain some extra money by tutoring. I am, as I said, a year 12 student so I have completed my GCSEs. I achieved a grade 9 (A*) in Maths. While I don't have a lot of experience, I feel like I will be good when it comes to teaching as I have a job currently coaching football at my local club which will help facilitate my skills of teaching. I think of myself as fairly relaxed and available majority of the time. If I am your tutor, you will be able to reach me and get in touch if you have any questions and I will ensure to link the topic that we are learning to one of your passions. and the things you are interested in.

My technique for teaching is simply making sure you understand what you are learning, I will link what you are learning to what you enjoy and are passionate about in order to ensure your strong understanding. The typical length of a lesson would be 1 hour, as I think longer than that, it is difficult for the students to maintain concentration and it is better to work in short bursts. I am not very experienced as a tutor as I have not had a job before so I am looking to gain some experience however, I do have a job coaching football so I am used to teaching children and knowing what methods they enjoy. These lessons are for 11+ students and I can also incorporate some of the topics they will learn later on in their education to facilitate their learning, but I will only do this if I feel it is suitable.
