About Shabeeba

I am Shabeeba Farsana, a qualified Mathematics tutor and professional Data Analyst based in Kerala, India. I hold a degree in Mathematics and have 3 years of experience teaching students at KS2, KS3 and GCSE level.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY:
I believe that strong mathematical foundations are built through clarity, patience and consistent practice. My approach focuses on developing genuine understanding rather than rote memorisation. I tailor every lesson to the individual student, ensuring they progress at a pace that builds both skill and confidence.

My background as a Data Analyst means I can demonstrate the practical value of Mathematics across real-world contexts — from finance and technology to data science — making lessons more engaging and meaningful for students.

AVAILABILITY:
I teach fully online and am available during UK evening hours, making scheduling straightforward for families across the United Kingdom.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm a qualified Maths tutor with a Mathematics degree and 3 years of hands-on teaching experience. I also work professionally as a Data Analyst — which means I bring real-world examples into every lesson, making Maths feel relevant and meaningful for your child.

WHO I TEACH:
I specialise in online 1-to-1 Maths lessons for UK students at:
• KS2 (Primary Maths)
• KS3 (Age 11–14)
• GCSE Maths (Age 14–16) — AQA, Edexcel and OCR

HOW I TEACH:
Every student is different, so I start with a short assessment to identify exactly where your child is struggling. From there, I build a personalised lesson plan that targets their weak areas first.

My lessons are:
Clear and step-by-step — no rushing, no confusion
Interactive — I use a digital whiteboard so your child can see every working out
Exam focused — past paper practice and exam technique built into every session
Encouraging — I build confidence as well as ability

️ HOW LESSONS WORK:
• All lessons are online via Zoom or Google Meet
• I use a digital whiteboard (Bitpaper) for clear visual explanations
• Lessons are 1 hour long
• Notes and resources are shared after every session
• Homework and practice questions provided between sessions

RESULTS MY STUDENTS GET:
My students consistently improve their grades within 4–6 weeks. Many of my GCSE students have moved up a full grade after just 8 sessions of focused work.

FIRST LESSON:
I offer a trial lesson at a reduced rate so you can see my teaching style before committing to regular sessions. No pressure — just great Maths teacher
