About Tugba
As a experienced teacher with three years experience in a secondary school setting as a Mathematics Tutor teaching Children aged range between 10-18 years old in London.
My interest in assisting students to work on their Mental reasoning and problem solving led me to focus on children who struggle the most in these areas especially the early years of secondary school by boosting their confidence with fun and creative techniques and methods that are easy to implement . My approach on designing lessons depends on assessing the students abilities and needs to form tailored plans and homework to enable them to reach their full potential and maintain their progress . The impact of my teaching methods has proven to have a positive result on the children ability to achieve a higher grade especially those children who struggled at the beginning of their academic year.
I have successfully developed new approach/ strategy when teaching GCSE students to tackle the unpredictability of the exams particularly the past year with the introduction of the new GCSEs by merging outside sources with the typical curriculum material to simplify the core objectives of the curriculum.This has led to many positive student outcomes and also increased their fondness of math in general.
As shown by my experience in tutoring , I am enthusiastic about Maths education and always strive to do the best for my students. I am able to take on responsibility for learning and have experience of successfully managing a class. I also have the enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I get a successful outcome from all my students.
