About Princess

Last year, I graduated from Hawker College with an atar that allowed me to get offer from my dream universities.
In year 12, I studied Specialist mathematics and methods, Chemistry, Physics and English. I can confidently say that I enjoyed and preferred maths and physics. This allowed me to get the Elaine White's Memorial Award for constant effort to improve my mathematics Skills. Furthermore I received Physics Honours for constantly achieving B grades or higher.

Aside from academics, I was very involved in loads of extra cirrculars. I was a sports captain, member of a student represenative council, on a environment team, sound and lighting, mental health ambbassador in 2021. This led me to being one of the three recipients of the ACT Education Excellence Awards. In college, I was on the ACT volleyball U18 and U19 teams as well as the beach volleyball team in 2022. Consequently, I was a coach at a school and club level, this was a job I truly enjoyed. It allowed me to work with students from all backgrounds. I was an ACT UN Youth Australia Evatt Competition delegate in The Evatt National Competition in 2022. I was an elected student leader at hawker college 2022- 2023. As well, I was a Hawker College representative at the Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS). I was also involved in the ACT instrumental Music Program from 2018 - 2022 and I was a member of my school's band both in High School and College, (2018- 2023).

Furthermore, since I am a migrant with African background, I have great experience with adapting to Australian education and culture.

About the lesson

In approaching private tutoring, I would endeavour to:
1. I would consult with the relevant stakeholders including the students to correctly identify the student's needs.
2.Become familiar with their learning style, subjects and the resources they are utilising at school.
3. I would also recommend science backed study methods to assist them with their own study.
4. I would come to lessons fully prepared and equipped on what they need to learn or improve on.
5. I would constantly review my own and the student's progress in order to make necessary changes.
