About Khatiza
I am a friendly, patient and reliable maths tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in maths. I understand that many learners find maths challenging, so I focus on clear explanations and a supportive approach. I work with students of different abilities and adapt my teaching style to suit each learner. My maths lessons are clear, structured and tailored to each student’s level and goals. I begin by identifying areas of strength and topics that need improvement, then explain concepts step by step using simple methods and worked examples. Lessons focus on building understanding first, followed by guided practice and exam-style questions where appropriate. I support primary and GCSE students with topics such as arithmetic, algebra, fractions, percentages and problem-solving. Lessons are typically 60 minutes and delivered online using screen sharing or in person face to face and interactive explanations. My aim is to help students feel confident, improve accuracy and make steady progress in maths.
