About Eva
Hello!
I am a student who loves maths, and has always enjoyed helping others understand the subject, I have had previous experience with tutoring and would love to turn it into my career, which can help lay the foundation for an eventual job as a maths teacher. However, I know the subject isn’t for everyone and so I am flexible to adapting my teaching style to help the student learn best, as my end goal is to help the student as much as possible.

I tend to initially lay down the foundation for what I’m teaching and take note of the subject areas tutees wish me to teach. From that point I can focus on weaker areas, while occasionally focusing on stronger areas to build long-term memory, with a starting task which will focus on what we covered in the previous session, again to boost long-term memory. Each session will last 1-2 hours, and we will aim to focus on 2 topics per session, allowing plenty of time to come back to each topic before the 11+. I previously volunteered as a tutor for the 11+, as well as assisted younger years at my school with studying for their end of years. I am willing to tutor for anyone taking the 11+, so the 9-11 age range, but will likely tutor for GCSEs at a later date.
