About NICHOLAS
I am an experienced educator with a Master’s degree in Space Science and Technology and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering. My academic background involved extensive use of higher-level mathematics through science and engineering, which provides a strong foundation for tutoring maths. Alongside my academic training, I have over two years of classroom teaching experience in Korea and China, working with students from a range of educational backgrounds. This combination of teaching experience and applied mathematical training allows me to support students clearly and confidently at high-school and early university level.

My academic background in engineering and space science involved extensive use of higher-level mathematics, which helps me explain ideas logically and relate maths to real applications. I am a calm and patient teacher, and I like to cut through unnecessary jargon to make concepts easier to understand. Lessons are delivered in a supportive environment with step-by-step explanations, worked examples, and guided practice to help students build confidence and improve problem-solving skills.
