About Tessa

I am a passionate Maths tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Master’s in Mathematics. I love exploring not just equations and formulae, but the fascinating history behind them. From ancient civilisations to modern breakthroughs, I uncover how mathematical thought has evolved over time. I enjoy sharing stories of famous theorems and the brilliant minds who discovered them.

About the lesson

My teaching focuses on making Maths clear, structured, and practical for students at all levels. I cover topics ranging from algebra, calculus, and geometry to data interpretation, graphing techniques, statistical analysis, and understanding numerical trends for research. Each session combines deep textual analysis with structured exercises to strengthen problem-solving skills.

I emphasise building a strong foundation first, then gradually introduce advanced concepts, ensuring students understand both theory and application. Learners who struggle with numbers receive targeted guidance, turning challenges into achievements. I provide real-life examples and data exercises to develop analytical thinking and quantitative reasoning.

Through consistent practice and feedback, I help students refine their data analysis skills and approach complex problems with confidence.
