About Faith

I am a Maths tutor with over 5 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics. My teaching focuses on introducing mathematical logic and proof theory to advanced high school and early university students. I help students develop strong formal reasoning skills through propositional and predicate logic, as well as foundational set theory. I use engaging paradoxes, thought experiments, and problem-solving exercises to make abstract concepts accessible and exciting. I have worked with students pursuing philosophy, computer science, and pure mathematics, tailoring lessons to their specific goals. About the lesson

My teaching approach in mathematics is systematic, clear, and focused on building both accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, I specialise in mental maths techniques, speed calculations, estimation skills, and quick problem-solving strategies. I guide students step by step, breaking down complex problems into manageable parts. Real-world examples and practical exercises are an essential part of my sessions. I provide consistent feedback, helping students recognise their strengths and areas for improvement. The methodology emphasises developing quick thinking and confidence with numbers. I work with students to master numerical challenges, improve calculation speed, and sharpen estimation skills. Assignments are designed to reinforce learning while encouraging independent problem-solving. I ensure every student progresses at their own pace, while keeping sessions engaging and interactive. Together, we build mental agility and mathematical intuition. By the end, students not only excel in exams but also enjoy the process of tackling maths challenges.
