About Mariam

Hello, my name is Mariam and I really want to help students understand maths as best as they can because I feel like it’s a very important subject. I also feel like this will benefit me to better understand the subject as I am taking it as an A-level so I am very serious about the subject.

About the lesson

I’m a maths A-levels student with a grade 9 in maths GCSE and a grade 7 in further maths GCSE. I also have experience tutoring students as I help students who underperform in maths at my school and will try my best to help you better understand the subject and provide as many resources to help you in your learning. Lessons could range from 1-2 hours usually on the weekends but I can be flexible depending on the student's schedule. These lessons will be for GCSE maths students or secondary students that need extra help with maths. The first lesson will consist of the student acknowledging their strengths and weaknesses and how they will improve overall in the subject. Usually, lessons will consist of a short revision task at the beginning, then I will go over the subject that they need help with and help them understand it to the fullest of their ability. I will give them a task to do independently to see how much they understand and go over everything they need help with until they are as sure of their ability as I am.
