About Gabrielle

Hi! When I am teaching my students call me Miss Rooney, however, I am happy to go by Gibby for tutoring. I have currently relocated to Spain for a year, therefore, I am offering tutoring for two areas I really enjoyed teaching!
Maths is my favourite, however, psychology is suuuuper interesting and I love neuroscience.

I have been a teacher for the last three years and was a private tutor for 2 years before that. I have lots of hobbies such as painting, playing guitar, hiking, cooking and many others. I say this because I believe it is important to enjoy learning. Learning is unique and an individual experience, hence why I think it is important to find a learning style for you.

Remember learning doesn't have to be hard, just consistent.

About the lesson

Mathematics is an area I am very passionate about. I believe that you should understand the approach, sometimes it is about practice, other times it is how we approach it.

Usually, I prefer my students to email me with the questions or concepts prior to the lesson. This way I can create resources or model the question. Dependent on the concept, it can be for 20-60mins.
