About Mahdi
My name is Mahdi. I’m currently studying Maths with Management at Queen Mary. I received an A in maths and Chemistry at A-level. During my time at school, I had many tutors and teachers and I always seemed to learn better with someone that was passionate about their job and their subject. This led me to begin tutoring because having someone that supported me throughout my academic journey, allowed me to recognise my talent and achieve the highest I can. This is why I enjoy tutoring and helping my students be the best they can be.
I enjoy teaching Maths as it is a big passion of mine and I have always had a talent in it which I would love to share.

In my experience of being a student, having a tutor can at times feel intimidating. In situations where a tutor has explained a topic but the student didn’t understand, the student can feel pressured to say they’ve understood. For this reason, I try my very best to build relationship with my students and keep checking in on them during lessons so that they feel as comfortable as possible.
