About Eden
I am a student at the University of Bristol on track to achieve a 1st in my BSci in Mathematics. I have a great passion for mathematics, and so I love having the opportunity to share the joy it brings me with others. So many people fear maths, but with enough time and energy dedicated to understanding it, I am confident each student can excel, and grow to love the subject like I do.
I clearly remember what it was like to sit GCSEs and Alevels, having sat them myself not so long ago, and so I approach my students with kindness and patience. I also make my lessons entirely judgement free, so that my students don't have to fear asking questions, the most vital part of learning.

I love private tutoring because dedicating the time and energy to learn each students style of learning and strengths and weaknesses, so I can adapt to their style.
My teaching style revolves around building a deeper understanding of a concept, not just learning a method. Whether at GCSE, A-level, or KS3, I can always prove and explain why a method works to help my students develop a clarity in their work.
The bulk of the lessons and homework is spent on practice, not only to enhance exam performance, but to assess my students' understanding so that I can adapt my lessons to them.
Typically my lessons are 1 hour long, with 10 to 20 minutes spent teaching the lesson concepts, and 40 to 50 minutes spent going through examples, practice questions, or homework questions from last lesson.
