About Magdalene
I'm Magdalene. I was awarded my 4 year art scholarship to pursue my BA in Visual Art. Plus, I was able to maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA to graduate with my MBA with a Marketing concentration. In addition, I am TEFL certificed. The main subjects I work with are English, Proofreading and Grammar. However, I can offer tutoring in Art History, Marketing and Business. My goal is to help students study smarter and not harder. In other words, my lesson plans will make sure that they are self aware of what they need to focus on the most to improve. I want them to study to understand rather than just to chase a grade.
I am easy to reach and respond quickly. I hope my sessions give you more clarity on your subjects. If you have any more questions, let me know.

I teach for you to understand and not just pass. I will make lesson plans personalized for for a student. I want to make sure you understand formal AND casual English. I will make up tests, quizzes and role-plays to make sure you are proficient. Overall my lessons are designed for high school seniors getting ready for college and college students preparing for grad school.
