My teaching method will most likely be hands on. With math or finance or business I believe that someone who is willing to teach you hands on will be the most effective. I like to challenge my students and to make them really think. To me this is one of the best ways to get a student to learn. I will also try to bring in real world applications that could increase the student's engagement into the problems. I am adaptive and able to change my methods if I can see that the student is not understanding or comprehending the subject the way I am currently trying to teach it to them.
I am MBA graduate with 3 years of investment management experience. I, unfortunately, have no professional experience tutoring, but I have helped many cousins and friends with math over the years. I use many different types of math everyday, including algebra, statistics, geometry, and more. I am great with young and old kids and even college level adults.
