About Erick

Hello! I'm an Erick an MBChB graduate with a strong passion for teaching Biology and the foundational medical sciences. Throughout my medical training, I developed a deep understanding of subjects such as Human Anatomy, Physiology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, and Pathology. I enjoy helping students break down complex concepts into simple, logical ideas that are easy to understand and remember.

I believe every student can excel when they receive the right guidance and a learning approach that suits their needs. My lessons are patient, interactive, and tailored to each individual's goals, whether you're preparing for KCSE, GCSE, A-Level, university examinations, or building a solid foundation for medical school.

As someone who has successfully completed rigorous medical training, I understand the challenges students face when studying Biology and the biomedical sciences. I focus not only on helping students achieve excellent examination results but also on developing critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a genuine understanding of the subject.

I maintain a professional, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. My goal is to build your confidence, strengthen your knowledge, and help you achieve your academic ambitions.

About the lesson

Before your first lesson, I assess your current level of understanding, learning goals, and any areas you find challenging. This allows me to design lessons that are personalised, engaging, and focused on helping you achieve measurable academic improvement.
My teaching approach emphasises conceptual understanding rather than rote memorisation. I simplify complex biological and medical concepts using diagrams, illustrations, clinical correlations, and interactive discussions. Every lesson includes guided practice, exam-style questions, and regular reviews to reinforce learning and build confidence.
A typical lesson lasts 60–90 minutes, depending on the student's needs and the complexity of the topic. I also provide revision strategies, study tips, and additional learning resources to support independent study outside class.
As an MBChB graduate, I have a strong foundation in both the basic and clinical medical sciences. My training enables me to explain difficult concepts in a clear, logical, and relatable way, helping students bridge the gap between theory and real-world medical practice.
My lessons are ideal for:
