About Coco

I am a 22 year old student at Durham University, with a strong academic background and teaching experience. I finished my 3rd year with a 1:1, and am now actively researching in the Nueropharmacology team at Durham for my master's year.

I will only tutor a few students per week to ensure I am fully engaged with their learning so that their experience is personalised to their learning needs. I completely understand the different learning styles some neurodivergent students need as I myself am autistic. This makes me perfect for working with both neurodivergent students as well as neurotypical students, as I am versatile in my teaching methods. I'm friendly, patient and enthusiastic about tutoring after my very positive experiences with teaching. I will teach at your pace, with no pressure and a positive learning environment.

After graduating from Durham I will be going to Cambridge University to study Graduate Entry Medicine at St Edmunds College.

About the lesson

Due to my year as a residential tutor and teaching assistant, I can adapt my tutoring style to your needs. This includes practice questions, walk-throughs of techniques, examples and interactive learning to suit your learning style. I can do sessions from 30-60 minutes to help improve both understanding and exam performance due to my extensive teaching experience and current involvement in the biological field at university. Additionally, I offer application and interview tutoring for medical school for graduate and undergraduate entry. Please see my "medicine" add for these lessons!

As a biology student, I can tutor Biology up to A level, English up to GCSE, and Maths up to KS3 with confidence in both my teaching ability and knowledge on the subjects. Qualifications: - 1 year teaching experience - Professional level child safeguarding and welfare training - Full DBS check - A*A*AA at A-level - Understanding of neurodivergent learning styles
