About Vicki
About Me I am a dedicated educator and program director with over a decade of experience in massage therapy and health sciences education. My career has been built on a deep commitment to helping students not only learn the material, but truly understand and apply it in their future practice. In my role as Program Director of a massage therapy program, I have guided students from their first day of class to graduation, board exams, and successful careers. I understand the challenges students face—whether they are brand-new to the subject or returning to education after time away—and I tailor my approach to meet each learner where they are. My teaching is grounded in current research, industry standards, and hands-on experience. I believe professionalism is built on a foundation of knowledge, skill, and ethics, and I aim to model those qualities in every lesson. Students can count on me for clear explanations, patience, and a supportive learning environment that builds both confidence and competence. My Teaching Method & Techniques
As an educator, I blend clear structure with real-world application. I believe learning sticks when students understand why it matters, not just what it is. A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-Up / Review (5–10 min): Quick recap of previous content or a brief knowledge check.
Core Content (20–30 min): Direct instruction with visuals, real-life examples, and analogies.
Interactive Practice (20–30 min): Application through discussion, guided exercises, or problem-solving scenarios.
