About Bruce
Hi, I'm Bruce — a McGill University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology (GPA 3.95/4.0) and a genuine passion for teaching. Over the past two years, I've worked as an undergraduate Teaching Assistant in anatomy and histology, teaching cohorts of about 20 students, running hands-on lab sessions, and grading exams — real classroom experience, not just informal tutoring. I also scored 521 (98th percentile) on the MCAT, drawing on the same math, statistics, physics, chemistry, and organic chemistry foundation I now teach.
What sets my tutoring apart is a focus on real understanding rather than memorization, so you can work through unfamiliar problems with confidence instead of just recognizing familiar ones. I'm patient, organized, and used to explaining difficult material clearly — skills built not only in the classroom but in other roles that demand clear communication under pressure, including my current volunteer work in the Emergency Room at Cornwall Community Hospital.
