About Signy
I am a university student studying Cognitive Science at McGill! I went to high school in Ontario and took all of the math and sciences. Tutors were so helpful to me in high school and I want to give back and tutor current high schoolers!
I am enthusiastic, patient, and organized and I truly care about how my students do. Whether you just want some extra practice, or your teacher doesn't explain the subject in a way that clicks for you, I can help you! Tests and assignments don't have to be scary and daunting, and I can help provide structure and schedule for you.
From coaching sports to being a camp counselor, I have lots of experience working with kids and teens. I can help you get that A+ that you want!

The body brain connection is the most important! I understand how important practice is and I prioritize practice questions. I will match the pace of the student and individualize the lesson plan according to the student's learning style. I start with a lesson, then do some practice problems together, then encourage the student to try them alone! I can teach elementary to high school level maths and sciences.
