About Peter
I received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from McGill University in early 2025. I have years of experience tutoring various levels of math in a variety of settings, so I am able to anticipate common areas of confusion and adapt my techniques for individual students. My experience working for a walk-in tutoring service taught me how to identify students’ struggles and respond to them on the spot, which complements my ability to provide well-structured preplanned lessons.

I communicate with students to assess their needs and prepare lessons with careful thought to the order of topics as well as examples. Questions are encouraged, and I always prefer to guide students’ thinking rather than giving them an answer right away so the lessons are memorable. Clear writing of every lesson makes it easy to review what we cover, and connections to daily life make the material easier to digest!
