About Maneli
I am an Honors Health Sciences graduate from McMaster University and will be starting medical school at University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine this fall.
For the past two years, I have volunteered as a tutor at McMaster Children's Hospital and have completed over 250 hours of private tutoring. I have taught a wide range of subjects, including high school biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, as well as first-year university chemistry, physics, and biology.
I genuinely enjoy teaching and helping students build confidence in subjects they may find challenging. I earned the highest average in both high school and university, and much of that success came from spending countless hours finding different ways to understand difficult concepts. Because of this, I understand where students often get stuck and am committed to explaining material in whatever way works best for them, whether through additional practice problems, alternative examples, or different teaching approaches.

My lessons are tailored to your individual learning style and preferences. At the beginning, we will discuss the topics you are struggling with and what you hope to achieve from our sessions, whether that involves reviewing concepts, working through practice problems, or preparing for exams.
During each session, we will identify areas that need improvement and work together to ensure you develop a strong understanding of the material. I am always happy to adjust my teaching approach based on your feedback and to explain concepts in different ways until they make sense to you.
I am also very flexible with my schedule, and we can arrange lesson times that work best for you!
