About Aryanna
Hi! My name is Aryanna, and I am a McMaster University Life Sciences student with a passion for helping children learn and grow with confidence. I have experience tutoring and working with elementary-aged students through both academic and mentorship roles, which has helped me develop a patient, supportive, and encouraging teaching style.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on adapting lessons to each child’s needs while creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not only to help students improve in math, but also to help them build confidence in their abilities and enjoy learning.
As a tutor, I value professionalism, communication, and consistency, and I strive to make every lesson engaging, approachable, and productive for both students and parents.

I adapt each lesson to the student’s learning style and focus on strengthening foundational skills before moving into more difficult concepts. A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, learning new concepts in a simple way, and practicing problems together to build understanding and confidence.
What sets me apart is my experience working closely with children through tutoring (Kumon) and camp counselling, which has helped me create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
My lessons are best suited for elementary school students looking for support with foundational math and french skills and overall confidence in the subject.
