About Kyle
I studied Mechanical Engineering and attained my Masters in the field of concentrated solar energy. I have in-depth knowledge in the domains of: Heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, testing and instrumentation, experimental methodology, project planning, manufacturing techniques and practical problem solving.
Alongside my degrees I worked multiple jobs to pay for my studies. My longest vocation of over 5 years was tutoring high school students in Mathematics and Science. I worked with over 30 students on a one-to-one basis at all levels of capability. Helping students who were failing to reach distinction level, and top achievers to reach their highest potential.
Not only did I explain the most complex aspects to them, but I also taught them how to learn, how to think critically and how to work with their unique strengths so that they may find it easier to discover what path in life they may wish to travel.
The most important lesson I impart is that of self belief. We all have something great to offer this world, it simply requires unveiling it.

I base my teaching approach on the specific student in question. Saying you can apply one method to every student is non-sensical. Some people need to first have their capabilities reinforced with small victory based exercises to build confidence. Others are fast movers and get bored with the same activities quickly. Most are a mixture of both to varying degrees across a spectrum of subjects.
