I strongly dislike when people are made to feel bad for not knowing something, or being confused - I believe clear guidance in combination with a good-natured person make for a great tutor, and that is what I aspire to be.
As far as competency goes, given my engineering background, I am highly confident when it comes to math and physics at the high school level

Lessons are primarily for middle and high-school students
Methodology is quite simple - the issue either relates to knowledge, application, or rapid comprehension of the problem, so the method is to figure out what the issue is and then work specifically on that skill while building general understanding
