About Harry
I am a mechanical engineering graduate from McGill University. I started out in biomedical science and at first, struggled to grasp concepts in physics, math and other sciences when I switched into engineering. I know how hard school can be sometimes.
Luckily I figured out my own learning style and realized that I am a visual learner that needs examples and hands-on practice. I actually ended up graduating in the top 25% of engineers. I also helped a lot of friends learn tough concepts along the way. I would love to help you too!

As a tutor, my approach is centred around providing a supportive and interactive learning experience for my students. I aim to make my lessons engaging and fun, while still covering all the necessary information and helping students to achieve their goals. This isn't class, it's a tailored experience!
My teaching methodology involves a combination of hands-on and interactive activities. I like to explain concepts or skills by breaking them down into smaller, more manageable parts for the students to practice. I use a variety of teaching techniques such as real-world examples, visual aids and discussions.
A typical lesson plan with me would look like this:
Introduction: Start by introducing the topic, setting learning goals, and outlining the structure of the lesson.
Explanation: Provide a clear and concise explanation of the topic, using visual aids, examples, and other interactive elements to help students understand the information.
Practice: Give students the opportunity to practice what they've learned through exercises and worksheets.
Review: Review the lesson and address any questions or concerns.
Homework: Assign materials to reinforce what was learned.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to tailor my teaching approach to each individual student's learning style and pace. I understand that every student is unique and have different strengths and weaknesses, so I work with each student to identify their specific needs and develop a personalized plan to help them succeed!
