About Sonny Boy
I'm Sonny, a young professional from the Philippines. I currently have a full-time data-related work in a local energy firm. I allot part of my weekends helping students with their lessons. Aside of course from wanting to earn a little extra, I teach to help students appreciate their lessons by having more intuitive understanding of the topics. I think it's sad to get hooked with formulas without really understanding how or why they came to be. :)

My sessions, which I usually do with high school and college students, are mostly filled with math exercises with me first taking the lead. Mastery of math topics always comes with answering a lot of problems, hence the exercises. Each session usually takes 1 to 2 hours.
Since 2020, I have written and reviewed over 11,000 solutions for textbook-based and app-scanned problems in Photomath. I did tutoring gigs back in the university prior the pandemic, mostly with my fellow engineering students who were in lower years. I just came back to teaching lessons early this year.
