About Shaun
I graduated recently from UC San Diego and hold a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering. I have experience as both presenter and tutor for college students as well as in various subjects such as engineering, math, and physics.

My methods focus on understanding, and try to blend theory with application. I try to connect numbers and abstract concepts to real world problems, and provide plenty of examples and visuals as aids in my teaching.
Typically I would do a quick review or warm up, then use to branch off for the main teaching portion. I would follow up with examples and practice, and finally use the last part of the lesson to answer any more questions and clarify any confusion.
I do my best to be patient and to go at a pace comfortable for the student's understanding, encouraging questions or to stop me when things get too confusing.
My lessons are designed mostly for middle to college level students that need help understanding mathematical concepts.
